I have been on the run much of the morning! (And I don't mean jogging!)
My husband woke up early and said he was going to Greenville to get a part for the grandson's car. (He has been working on it most of the weekend) I jumped out of bed, brushed my teeth, splashed a little water on my face, and away we went.
I had the thought of breakfast out on my mind!
I was very conscientious and had 2 eggs, wheat toast, and a fruit cup.
As soon as we got home, I had to pick my grandson up at his friend's house so he could get ready for a graduation reception. When we got home we discovered that his car needed more than a water pump! It was still getting hot!
Poor kid! Poor Hubby!
We took him to the reception (20 miles away) and dropped him off where he was to be picked up later by our son. Hubby and I ate lunch at a nearby McDonalds. I had a plain cheeseburger and some tea. Not too bad and I put it in my tracker.
On the way home, our other grandson called and said his car was getting hot!!!
When he got here it was a simple fix but we had a good laugh about it. We have to laugh. It's when we take ourselves too seriously that we get into trouble.
I am still working on my 10,000 steps and thinking about my goals for the week ahead.
Here's to a great week. Don't forget to laugh!
