I normally set aside Saturdays as my long distance day. I've been concentrating more on time in the saddle vs distance. So, my plan was to bike 4 hours. The temperature was in the 90's and muggy. The course was hilly and a real challenge. We hung in there and finished with an extra minute to spare. I was careful with the hydration and finished the ride strong. However, the nutrition was not good. But, will not be tough on myself due to an otherwise great week. HOOAAA!!

    You still killed it! What a great week for you. 4 hours on the bike is awesome. Your training is going well. I don't think one rough nutrition day is all that bad. emoticon

    Sounds like you kicked its butt! DH and I had a great 50KM ride today...supposed to be a long slow ride but ended up doing some hills and some really fast downhills.
