I am so glad that I began streaking and have taken the steps to join my first challenge here on SparkPeople, the official 10-minute daily exercise streak team. Even though it is still summer and I have loads more time than in the school year, I am still finding it hard to carve out a select number of minutes each day to workout. Normally, I would just tell myself that it is okay to skip the day and just do some extra exercise tomorrow. But as anyone can guess, tomorrow never truly comes.
I know that 15 minutes a day is not much time at all. It shouldn't be so hard to get it in and I really want to, yet it is hard some days. However, streaking is extremely motivational! I am up to day 7 now and when I get my 15 minutes in before work today, I will be up to 8. Today is a day that I really don't want to workout at all, but I simply can't break my streak. I love the idea of streaking!!
