NSVs for motivation - any ideas?

Although here it is the middle of winter, and rather bleak, I have decided to steal a march on my planned spring push to release weight. So I am looking for some NSVs to help with motivation.
Last round of weight reduction saw aches and pains disappear, bye bye to stiffness and hello to putting on my shoes more easily. I am more agile and flexible and fit in chairs with room to move. On the plane the other day I noticed that there was a lot more room on my seatbelt, and I am fitting into just my seat, not creeping into the space next door. No doubt to the relief of my travelling companion!
Sparkies can you think of other NSVs I can look out for to help me celebrate as I release the next ten kilos? It is SO motivating to feel the difference in my body, I find it gets me through the hard times as I restrict my eating and pay close attention to the types of food in my diet.
Your suggestions of what I might look out for would be gratefully received.
Sorry, MNAboy, NSV= non scale victories. I prefer mine to be things I notice about my body and what it can do, but they can be anything that makes you think, "yes!" about your success in releasing weight or any activities that you can now do or experiences you have had because of your pursuit of a healthier lifestyle.

Fitting into lower size clothes, putting one size lower in the closet and working towards it is a great motivation. Being able to do more and more exercise over time including more weight lifted or a better time. Feeling satisfied with portions is a huge victory. Sweating less and breathing lighter when exercising.

    good start girl....
you can keep more NSVs like, being able to lie shoelace without going breathless, have streak of positive talk with self for minimum 10 days,to be able to walk a particular distance without going breathless, climbing a flight of stairs, measure urself up with a tape,to be able to do a particular number of abdo crunches,yoga/pilate postures....

please choose what u wud really love to achieve and is achievable today..invariably u shall achieve everything but keep ur goals more realistic for the time being ok?? it makes sure that we donot fall off the wagon with a small set back..
n most importantly, credit urself and gift urself as u achieve these one by one-it cud a small picnic or even a manicure. all the best

I was trying to figure out non scale victories and perhaps not thinking of eating as food restricting. More as eating a variety of healthy flavourful foods. Perhaps looking forward to amusement park rides you may not have been able to ride before. Wearing a swimsuit? emoticon

Wow I can identify with all the ones you listed too. What about more energy. Getting to be the person you were intended to be.. That is not just about weight but about exercising control over your life and not allowing food or mood dictate to you. Choosing life daily as you make good food decisions. creating a better future and a healthier old age. Not to mention more choices to wear clothes and styles that maybe you wouldn't have dared before... and being able to attempt activities you wouldn't have dared to because of shame, embarrassment or the physical impossibility that the weight imposed on you. Actually these are some of mine. emoticon
