Wouldn't it be great if the evening news or 24-hour news now did include good news coz that is life isn’t it? A mix of good news and bad news. I think they should rename the new—just plain BAD News. But I digress.
It’s been a month since I arrived back from my winter/spring vacation in Nairobi. The bad news is that I have regained 6 pounds since my return! The good news is that I am taking steps not to regain everything I lost by tracking and being active.
Good news, I was able to get my last job back and not spend months and months job hunting. The bad news is that I have to work night shift again which will make being active a challenge but I am determined. The good news though is that hopefully the night shift will only be for two months max and then I can move into the 2nd shift. I cannot wait!
The good news is that this past week I was working regular day shift retraining, bad news is that starting tomorrow I will be 6pm to 2:30 am and then the following weeks, 8pm to 4:30 am so my schedule will be all over the map the next few weeks (sigh)
Still everything considered and keeping things in perspective, I am okay and it will be okay.
