The Summer Spectacular Berry Cake - it does work without butter. It had a nice flavour. I made two thin cakes instead of one cake and then trying to cut it in thirds. I now understand why the instructions say cut in third, so you have sufficient filling. The layers are not as thick and the filling is proportionate. I found that I wanted more filling in mind because the layers were thicker. Also I think it needs a 'syrup' to moisten the cake. It tasted nice. I added more fruit to my plate to 'juice it up'. In honour of Ms Eleni my
who always post such lovely pictures - here is a picture of the cake.
