Wow...

Sunday, June 23, 2013

I got a call from my nephrologist on Friday... last month, when I saw her, my labs weren't looking so good, I'd lost 6% of my kidney function in the months since I'd seen her before...I wasn't particularly shocked by that, considering all that happened. But I wasn't happy about it and neither was she, and she wanted me to retest in a month after things had a chance to settle down... Happily, the call Friday was to tell me that my GFR had gone back up. Not QUITE where it was before-- it's now 30 instead of 31-- but it's a lot better than 25 and it's a good start, I'll take it! LOL

So...

This morning I decided it was once again time to weigh in... and I got SUCH a shock!

I've lost SEVEN POUNDS this week! No idea how or where it went... but I'm not complaining about that either! LOL

Probably water weight... hm... LOL

Another nice thing? No disasters or emergencies this week! HURRAY! LOL

I'm going to go make myself some breakfast...

Be well!

emoticon I am glad to hear that your levels are going up! I know how scary it can be when you have medical stuff going on and you can't control the outcome! I say prayer is a power tool and it always has worked for my life! I wish you the best and I hope your doing some nice stuff for yourself this week! Hang in there and keep your chin up! emoticon emoticon
