Checking back in for good news!

Sunday, June 23, 2013

So, walking in walmart last night, I did a blood pressure and weight test. For me, those weight tests always say I weigh more than my scale at home - so I never quite feel like I've reached a goal when I do them... This time, however, it showed I weighed LESS than my scale at home! What?! I was elated.

So I got up this morning with the intentions to weigh in. Sundays are my normal weigh in days but I had weighed in yesterday and didn't expect much change. Well, change I got :) My weight for this week is officially 154.2! (4.2 lbs away from NOT BEING OVERWEIGHT!) I feel like jumping for joy!! Instead, I reached for the tape measure to see my results on that front.

I haven't taped in 2-3 weeks. Yep, it has really been that long... so I was happy to see some progress :) My waist went down by half an inch, my arms stayed the same, my thighs went down by a whole inch, and my hips went down by half an inch!

To top it off, my husband - a few days ago - mentioned that if I was to try on the bathing suit I tried on last year... I would totally fit it! Back story: I tried on this bathing suit last year bc it was a rocker-chic looking one and really hot looking! I barely squeezed into the large... But I'm down 20 lbs from last year! 20 lbs!! If I see that bathing suit again, I'm going to go try it on :)

Alright, I'm going to get off of here. I have a lot to get done today :)
Until later!
