Peanut butter and spreadable fruit on whole wheat bread is always an old standby. I wonder how many PB&J sandwiches I have eaten in my lifetime so far? lol I used to have milk with this, but my lactose intolerance won't let me drink a full glass of milk anymore. I suppose some sort of vegetable would round out this meal. Is that why the school used to put pickles on our peanut butter sandwiches instead of jam or jelly? Yuck!
Tuna fish + celery + relish + mayo with whole wheat crackers... maybe, but I have found that a little apple cranberry chutney mixed in with the tuna is more to my liking than the tired tuna recipe I ate when I was little...
A salad with a grilled skinless chicken breast sounds yummy. Add some sliced strawberries and a few blueberries to sweeten up the lettuce and a mild vinaigrette gives it some zing!
Leftovers with good portion control also make for a quick meal.
