Confession of a cheese junky

Here is what I ate yesterday, totally honest

breakfast
1-1.5 cups cheerios
1/2 c 2% milk
1 medium banana
bottle of water

lunch
Pizza hut
2 breadsticks with sauce
a large salad with macaroni salad and cottage cheese, French dressing
a sandwich with black forrest ham, salami, cheese, Italian dressing, lettuce and tomato and banana peppers
Pepsi (rather LARGE one)

1/2 bottle water


Dinner
a ham sandwich on wheat bread with mustard and Colby cheese
about 4 more slices of Colby (sorry I love cheese)
about 4 slices of thin pepperoni
orange Gatorade

Large glass of ice water

Snacking I ate about 7 chips ahoy cookies in there somewhere throughout the day.

OK NOT my best day but NOT 4 pounds.

I exercised this morning, did 40 minutes on my bike which according to sparkpeople says about 940 calories burned.

Water gain? Yes I ate BREAD and fat. I confess. I did not work so I was not real active during the day, although I sort of meandered around on the deck and in the garage but mostly sitting reading and watching TV.

Back to work this morning, back to my bottle (of water) and curses to the cheese in the fridge!

    I LOVE CHEESE TOO!
    I find it best to just not have it near me. I buy it in pre-wrapped portions (like string cheese, or those little round wax cheeses) so that the hubby and kids can have it.
    Same with ice cream!
    What is it about dairy????

    Definitely agree that sodium is a factor, but also try to get more freggies and less carbs in. It is easier said than done.... believe me, I KNOW.

    I agree that sodium is probably the culprit. Wait a few days and weigh yourself again

    I would guess the sodium in the cheese, ham, cottage cheese, and breadsticks. Push some extra water today and it should come off quick. Balancing your sodium and potassium helps too.
