... is going through a lot right now. emoticon

1. First, my son-in-law lost his grandmother;
2. I am ashamed to say that part of my family is not living in harmony; emoticon
3. My hubby could lose his job in a couple of days;
4. My daughter-in-law just lost her grandfather.

I want to sound positive in whatever I say or do but it seems that the more I want them to make peace with each other, the worst it gets. Lord, I want to leave it up to You as I can do nothing.

Also, if my hubby loses his job, it would be a blessing in disguise. He has been working for the company fifteen years, doing a lot and benefit less and less but with more stress each day. I think God has a better plan for him.

Peace, Love & Joy to everyone!

    Hi Daisy........
    I am so sorry to hear of your troubling news. I do think that you have made the correct choice in giving it all over to HIM. We can only do so much and I have found over the years that sometimes it is best to let the pieces fall as they may.
    You have such a positive attitude re: the loss of your husband's job. Hopefully there is something out there that will be better for him all the way around. And, as far as the family members NOT getting along........they have to be the ones to correct whatever is going on. You have done what you could and now it is up to them.
    Stay strong and try to enjoy what remains of your stay.

    I'm not a praying person; however, I will keep you in my thoughts and wish only good things for you in the future. Keep a positive attitude and continue to try to look at the good side of things (like that your husband will be able to reduce his stress if he loses his job). Remember, things change continually - life doesn't stay the same. Also, you will never be given more on your plate than you can handle. Hang in there.

    Oh, my, I will keep you in my prayers...that is for sure. Sad to say, but one person cannot make two other people get along with each other. Only the two of them can make that happen. Meanwhile they do not own the hurt they inflict on those around them who see, and feel the pain of the conflict.

    These 'adult' children are so very lucky to have had their grand-parent for so many years. I have always been just a little jealous of those people since I have no memories of my grandfathers and my grandmothers both died when I was seven(7). I never had a grandparent so I could run away from home with them as the destination.

    It is good that you have your faith and can draw your strength from HIM.

    Be safe. Do what HE gives you the knowledge and strength to do then leave the rest to HIM !!
