I headed to the gym for my usual Saturday workout: spin and SWEAT.
Got through spin 26.5 miles...I started a little before class did:)
Then headed to SWEAT. There was a schedule change which left my partner and I without any weight and a super crowded room. Instead of complaining or even talking with the trainer about what was going on, I just looked at my partner and said "Body Pump?" She nodded yes and away we went.
I had not done this class in about 6 months. I had no idea what types of exercises we would be doing nor could I remember the weights I used the last time I took the class. I just went with it and managed to work my upper body even more:) It was a fun change of pace. I really liked the lunge track which required us to jump on our bench:) We got done and I actually said "that was fun!" Of course the hairy eyeballs came out from everyone:) Apparently working out is not supposed to be fun?? The ab track was also stellar as we used our plates for an added challenge the entire time:) Will I go back, possibly. It was a nice change. I still really like the challenge of SWEAT and I know Body Pump is what you make of it.
