Summertime, setting a goal for July.

It's official, it's summer. June is almost gone and I'm working away at my goals.
I've really made some gains on changing the three habits I went after this month. I took advice from the comments I got on eating while cooking, eating when stressed and eating impulsively. I'll keep working on these.
I also gave up coffee, which helped me cut back on sugar. I think I was on the eat sugar or drink coffee to get energy, and now I'm more aware of what foods give me energy and what foods just take a lot of time to digest. I may take coffee back up in the fall, but it's been good to take a break.
One of the things I discovered that really drains me is alcohol. I've been a one beer or one glass of wine on the weekends person, and it turns out this habit leaves me tired the next day. So I'm taking a break from that.
Giving these up has made me realize that I actually do have some self discipline.
So JULY is going to be my month to give up sugar (as much as I can). Most of my impulsive eating is for something with sugar, so this change will help that habit too.
