I did it

Saturday, June 22, 2013

My DH found a Bissell vacuum at his work that was heading for the dumpster. It sort of worked, so he brought it back to the house. Our vacuum is not working so well, so I decided to tackle this new item. One hour later the huge clog is extracted from the line, tape is on the hose were the toothpick had gone through. All I need to do is get the filters back on, once they are dry, and give her a test run.

I thought what if I put it back together and it is not working? Will I be bummed out? Oh heck no! I got to discover how to pull apart that type of vacuum, and learn that I do have the determination to see a project of that type to the finish. Besides I had fun doing it!

Now it will be off to the garage shortly to clean it out, and hopefully get my punching bag back in action - plus my bike down and the tires filled with air. What a great day! I hope everyone one else is having a much fun delving into the hidden projects in their day. Don't worry - I will stay moderately boisterous. The garage has spiders and I am arachnophobia - so there is a 100% chance of screams and running.
