So, I haven't been around much but I'm still on my journey.
Since getting sick, I have yet to get back to regular exercise. I'm still eating generally well, though it has taken me two weeks to lose 1 lb - if that tells you anything about me being so strict about calories... I'm eating somewhere under my weight maintenance calories. Some days I do really well and some days I splurge.
I wish I had an exact reason to give you guys for slowing down - but I don't. Not this time. It's just life! It's just me! I have no excuses. I got out of a routine and I haven't jumped back in, but, I'm doing just fine :)
I WILL get back to exercising, but I'm not going to say when because I don't yet know. I know I need it and I know I still have goals to reach but I'm happy at the moment.
I want to stay positive, if you guys haven't noticed. I've got a lot of big changes coming up in my life.. two tests.. nursing school orientation.. honestly I'm just happy I'm not eating all my weight back on at this point!
Reasons why I'm happy:
Nursing school information is coming up!
I'm about to complete my last couple of tests before school!
I'm OVER halfway to my goal, as of today :)
I went shopping and bought size 8 shorts and a MEDIUM SHIRT.
I'm looking and feeling good!
My family is happy and getting healthier :)
I'm spending lots of time with my family :)
So, that's where I am now. I was trying to get to 150 before my physical appt (have to have one for nursing school) but I don't think it will happen and that's ok :) I'm 155.6 today and I'm loving it! (150 is where I'll no longer be in the overweight category)
