Week is Over

I'm back. I was out of touch for about a week with family in town. It was a great week. I am so proud of the graduates and all that they accomplished. I am also proud of myself. I didn't beat myself up for not tracking my food for the week. But I know that I made the best food choices based on the options I had at each meal.

My snacking was controlled, I made sure to have some healthy options in the house for when we had some down time between family events. When eating out, I checked the restaurants menus if they were available on line before going to eat there, and then I double checked the menu when I got there, and looked for the items that was protein based, and subbed out vegetables for some of the starchy foods, (on occasion).

I have to wait to get to the gym to check my weight loss, but regardless of what the scale will say, I'm going to try to remember all the positives instead of beating myself up.
