My weekend pep talk. 6/22/13.

When I first started my health journey, I was a lot heavier then today.
Back then, I was tired all the time and just doing 20 minutes of walking on the treadmill was very tired some. Could not move easily, such as just to get out of the couch. But this morning I walked over an hour for 4miles. While exercising, I felt so good and wanted keep going. And truly appreciate and How feels great to be fit and healthy. I am not saying my health and physical looks are perfect. I am still in the progress of getting better myself. And I am not regressing.



I am so grateful that day, I finally came to the conclusion. if I am keep doing same thing, eating same un healthy junk foods, being depressed and lazy. How my going to expect different result ? I made my decision to become healthy. And glad I haven't look back since. Everyday, I try and find my motivation to keep moving, doing exercise and find something healthy to eat and moving forwards on my life. One exercise at time, one healthy meal at time, yes.."one day at time."



Today is a day 6 of my veggies and fruits challenge. So far so good. I haven't consumed any meats nor dairy product. And I feels great !! I am not a vegetarian. But I have learned many great benefits of just consuming lots of Plant based foods. And its really working for me. I was at my plateau until last Sunday. Actually I gained 2 pounds last week. But it finally broken. This week I've lost 4.5 lbs. total. Yay!! I haven't done nothing special, all I did was changed my diet to plant-based diet. Lots of veggies and fruits. I could eat as much as I want and not have to worry about how many calories I had consumed. Thanks to low calorie high nutrient veggies and whole foods. I can now understand the words saying " You are what you eat." Or " Eat to live, not live to eat." And " Don't dig your grave with your own knife and fork." So make sense about not eating junk foods with all the additives and preservatives, that making shelf live longer but make yours shorter.



I'm just feeling in sync with universe at moment who is helping me to get better myself.
I don't even know how long my good habit of today will last. But hopefully I love myself enough to keep going, making a one good decision at a time. I am motivated !!
