Got the book when it first came out, and it's been sitting there collecting dust as I've been juicing up a storm. Yesterday's 'plateau busting' lesson on my Sparkcoach was about detox diets. I've been trying to balance that information with my experience following the 21 day Clean program. The nutritionist, Becky Hand, was pretty brutal about how detox diets and juice fasts are a bunch of crap (my words, not hers). But, I had a lot of success with the Clean program, which is meant to be temporary, and was developed by a medical doctor. I liked a lot of the information in his book, but admittedly, some of it sounded like hooey. I think it's important to sift through information like that, though; take some and leave some.
Anyway - on to the next thing for me. Spark Solution! Where I struggled most with Clean was 'easing' back into a 'normal' (healthy) diet. So, I think Spark Solution will be a big help with that. I've been doing pretty well with consistency in exercise, although I do need to be more regular and regimented about strength training vs. doing cardio, cardio, cardio. Love me some running. But sometimes I overdo, and my back and legs let me know it.
