Hmmm, Queen/Empress/CEO of All She Surveyth in Her Own Life Am120s has been noticing since returning to work (part-time) that when she doth NOT take time on Saturday to focus JUST ON HER OWN LITTLE REALM (the one inside her own little head and the sphere of family, true friends and kindly strangers), she doth NOT do as well on the Sacred Sunday Ceremony o' the Golden Maintenance Scale and returns to a FALSE sense of insecurity about her weight and her chances of remaining forever in the 120s.
Since she HAS been in the 120s for most of this year and since the scale has rarely moved during that time within her range of 120-129, let alone threatened to be anywhere near the dreaded outlying land of the 130s again, this insecurity REALLY is unwarranted.
So the Royal Am120s Committee on Maintenance Focus on 120-129 has been formed and had an early morning walking meeting in which some rules for today were formulated:
Today we will leave the work alone as it will be there Monday and we do not need to do it now and to fuss with it actually will make us less productive.
Today we will eat at our target caloric goal in the 1700s as we have been sliding too far above that for too long and that IS going to catch up with us on the scale sometime, somewhere, somehow.
Today we will reiterate our recently formed conclusion that intermittent fasting really doesn't work for us here in the realm. We had been believing it did but in the long run we do best in maintenance eating smaller meals throughout the day and EVEN IF WE ARE OVER CALORIES, we do not skip meals, including and especially our dinner, in the name of intermittent fasting. No, no, no, no skipping dinner.
Today we will continue to BELIEVE in OUR ROYAL SELVES (Amarantha120s and all the other royal folke & folkettes residing in her head along with the diet fairies, exercise elves and other benign entities in our wee imaginative brain). We continue to believe we WILL have a good weigh-in tomorrow that IF it is up (it will be lol) will NOT have carried us back across the border to the 130s). No, no, no leaving Maintenance Range Land.
Thusly, it is. Manifest.
