Days 3 and 4

Day 3 went well...had a really good day but the eating wasn't great. Skipped lunch (too much work) and had 2 glasses of wine
. On the plus side, even with the cheat, I managed to keep my calorie intake on track and didn't compromise too much on the nutritional value.
Day 4 - today is tough. The cravings have hit with a vengeance today. Haven't given in to any of them - so far.
Day is over and I am pleased to say that I didn't give in to any of my cravings.
Went over my desired calorie intake, but on the plus side I only ate good quality foods (fruit, veg and wholegrains) so I'm not beating myself up about it.
I just learned how many empty calories are in honey. I have been using it quite freely and often unnecessarily but that has got to change. I feel a bit like a birdwatcher - having to be honest about my intake even though no one will ever audit my tracking. As good as it feels to have nice numbers though, I know I'd only be lying to myself.
