May 23, I committed to walking 30 minutes or more a day. I have succeeded with this up until June 19th when I got too sick to really get that walk in. I am back at my walking and achieving 10K a day with walking and going to CURVES for Circuit work outs.
I almost made a whole month--and I am very proud to say on some nights I was walking 45 to 1 hr and 15 minutes. My breathing is still a big issue for me so my pace is adjusted daily to what I can do with my breathing. I did complete a 5K while on vacation in San Diego, 47 minutes and that included waiting for a trolley to go by and the time delay of going through color bombing of a Color Me Rad race. I was just happy to finish the 5K, but to do it in 47 minutes is a dream for me and I have never been so proud of myself as I was that day.
So I have recommitted to walking at least 30 minutes a day, shooting for 10K a day in steps starting on June 20th. It was not easy to do this some nights as I easily can think of a million things to do while seated in the house, so getting out to walk in itself is sometimes the big win in my book!!!
