Cookies and My boyfriend's dad

Saturday, June 22, 2013

It's been a week since Mike's dad has been in the hospital. He had to go into an emergency surgery for his intestines. He's recovering well so I have decided to give the house a good clean for when they come home. I'm not going to go in their bedroom or bathroom. Just clean the living room and kitchen. I'm also going to mow the lawn.
Anyway, hopefully he'll come home soon. Mike's parents are in North Carolina and was supposed to attend to two weddings. Please say a prayer or two for them to come home safely.

I made the mistake of tasting the cookie dough. Today. :( But I am going to try again. It was only a small taste but still. I did make a promise and I will stick to it.

Also I've decided to walk on the trail because for some reason, I'm running the wrong form. By the end of my run, the inside of my knees started to hurt. I watched loads of videos when I got home and it's so confusing. I figured that I would walk as fast as I could on the trail I set myself. Mike's aunt walks very fast so I thought I could do the same.

It's like they say. Start off small and add on slowly. I will walk as fast as I can. The only thing I need is good music.

1. walked for an hour and 7 min
2. did 130 crunches
3. found recipe book
4. organized room
5. drank lots of water

1.lose a few inches off my core a successful squat
3.finish my homework for the semester
4.clean my room
5.refusing sweets and treats

I have also been looking for my recipe book for about two months. I didn't look at the place where I thought it wouldn't be. Thinking about it now, I laugh because I swore to myself that it's not in that particular place. My mom always told me. If you lost something, you might find it when you clean. Not sure if that's true for everyone's case. :)

I hope you have a wonderful day.

You've accomplished quite a bit and you have great goals. I should be doing that and posting them like you do. I hope you find your book.
