A new start

So, tomorrow is my new start. Why tomorrow and not today you may ask? Cause it's 11:30 pm and I'm worn out. Haha. Kind of a little later tonight to start.

I was browsing Youtube last night and ran across some weight loss videos. People had lost so much weight. And I was sitting here, feeling miserable because I've gained most of my weight back. I'm off from work for the summer...and I've been telling myself that "Oh, I'll start back up tomorrow." and "I can do that Monday." and those days come and it never happens.

I was part of a BLC team on here when my summer break came along (still am....but not active) and I thought that would motivate me to get myself moving. It didn't, however. In fact, it demotivated me. I didn't participate in the challenges and I absolutely despise weighing in every week. I've never done well with that. So I PMed one of the people that runs it and let them know that I was backing out of the challenge.

I need to really rework a lot of my thinking again. I need to work on not snacking between meals. I need to work on actually getting off my butt and exercising. So what if I've done that workout before? I'll do it again!

I need to stop making excuses for myself. They do nothing but bring me down!

So I figured I'd should make some goals for myself. Some things to help keep me motivated and coming back to this site.

--Get at least 100 spark points a day.
--Read at least 1 article a day on here.
--Drink 4 bottles of water a day and track it.
--Go to bed by midnight each night until work starts back up...then it will be 9:30.
--Take a walk at least three times a week.
--Exercise every day for at least 20-30 minutes.
--Weigh in every other week.
--Take other measurements once a month.

I will eventually put this into my actual profile and add on to it later as I continue on in my new beginnings.

    The little things really add up and it's the little things that get us when we aren't trying as hard as we know we have to. I know, I'm STUCK...I've increased my exercise ten-fold but my weight isn't going down at all. It's because I haven't been TRACKING everything...I NEED to do that, I know I need to, but I've been lazy.

    Good for you! Take each day as it comes, don't fret! Whatever videos you were watching...didn't happen overnight! It happened with consistent daily activity and healthy choices over a long period of time!!! We will do it!
