Just decided to check my measurements to see if I might have made some strides in the right direction. I am delighted to report losing a total of 4 inches! One off the waist, one off the thigh and a whooping 2 off the hips! Thank you to my hula hoop and to DDP Yoga for the forward movement. :) The weight is hovering but I'm hopeful that with building more muscle the fat burning will commence soon. I'm down a couple of pounds from when I started but I really did expect a bit more. I think maybe being over 50 could have an effect on how quickly or slowly the weight will come off. All in all I'm very happy to be losing inches and feeling stronger all around.
