"Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant."

Robert Louis Stevenson

Seems to me that this applies to our journey on SP. We aim to plant the seeds of good habits & choices that will take us to health. We don't see the results (harvests) every day, but good things are happening inside our bodies, we're making progress and we're on the way to success. We get there by planting those tiny seeds that consist of a good attitude, great choices and action every day. It's a win-win.

We went grocery shopping today at WalMart & Sam's. As we left Sam's the cart was no where near full. We didn't get any electronics - only food and not a lot of it. I couldn't believe the total was correct so we stopped after we paid the cashier to double check it. It was correct. It's breath taking how much everything has increased in price over the past 6-12 months or so. I don't know how young people (or those on fixed incomes) do it, We are as frugal as can be, always have been, so I can assure you we splurged on nothing. We did get some very nice fruit that'll taste real good!! I'm just still kind of shocked!!!

Oh the wheel was my friend today!!!! 25 points on the log in spin and 20 points on the bonus spin!!!!!!!! emoticon

Did the cardio walking this afternoon after we finished putting everything away.

Mileage: 9.42 miles
ST: core; lower body

A big thanks for stopping by today if you had time. Hope you had a fabulous Friday!! emoticon

And just think . . . it would be higher prices shopping elsewhere! I shop both Sam's Club and Costco as well as WalMart. I don't know how it would work on a fixed income either!

DH is no where near ready to retire, though he's 61. I keep teasing him when he retires we'll both have to become WalMart greeters!

HUGs and here's to a great weekend.

Nothing like the high cost of food to pull you up short and keep it down to the essentials. I am so glad the garden has kicked in so we can save there. Take care and save some of those big spins for another day! HUGS!

    emoticon quote!

I spend more in a week on groceries than my mom spent for a month for a family of 5. It's sickening.
