First Day of Summer & I did Good Today
Friday, June 21, 2013
Breakfast loaded with veggies and one egg. Topped with ground flaxseed. the fresh blackberries and piece of canteloupe tasted so good. I was so full that I didn't have a proper lunch. I wanted to eat the lettuce from the garden but settled for a banana & piece of canteloupe with water.
I was so busy working indoors, outdoors, upstairs, downstairs, I didn't want to stop. The moon's energy is moving me right along.
I made a big stir fry tonight. I feel so badly because I wanted my daughter to come and share it, but she popped in to get tents, sleeping bags, etc. and took off to the Adirondack mountains with some friends from her old high school.
My dinner plate. It even has turmeric root in it for inflammation. What a tasty meal this way.
I used freshly cut broccoli and bok choi cut from the organic garden minutes before stir frying them in the dinner.
For a snack, and to add more calcium and protein, I had a half cup greek yogurt and fresh raspberries.
I drank lots of water today and I feel very proud of the good, healthy choices I made, today, on the summer solstice.
