Just when you think that you....

Can do something... you do it..
That was me today, when I jogged one mile straight with out stopping. I can walk 3 miles, I can walk, then jog then walk I will walk 3 minutes jog 2 or walk 4 and jog 1.. I have been doing this for a while.. I will admit I have always thought that I would never run/or jog like I use to.. I know I am not a runner like most people are who run 5ks or marathons I sit here and say that running is not for me and I do not get in that zone that some of you say you get into, I do get in that zone when I am on my bike.. but still I enjoy doing something that is challenging and today I proved to my self that I can and am challenging my self.. Today when I was jogging and I knew I was going to keep going. I felt great and when I heard that voice I my ear from my GPS saying one mile.. I was so excited and the feeling of doing something that I thought I could never do.. was so overwhelming.. and empowering.. yes I hope to do it again, no I do not plan on running marathons.. yes I would not mind being able to jog/run all 3 miles. and some day I will do it..

also my 2nd achievement of the day was when I stepped on the scale at the gym. I thought oh I will see a gain or stay the same. no I was down 3.. so Just when you think the negative a positive comes out..
keep thinking positive.. and things will happen.

Nice work Anita!! Way to stick with it. I don't consider myself to be a runner either....I walk and jog my way through everything. It works! emoticon
