I'm moving ever so slowly towards full embracing of Paleo food and lifestyle. I am eons away from being able to do cross fit or ...lots of other things. But, I have started doing KB supersets with my weights. (3#, 5#, 7# and sometimes 10#). I cannot do everything with the 10, but it is getting easier. My next goal will be to add the 15#. Yesterday's superset was still a challenge, but the 10 was a little easier.
Apparently, there is a spectrum of "Paleo" just as there is vegetarian. I read a new-to-me site earlier this week that said dairy was ok. Hmmm, I'll check that out. (I love cheese). Yesterday, I had fruit, cottage cheese and walnuts for breakfast. I did not eat all of it so I finished it this morning. My system objected. Mercifully, I was able to put in a day's work in spite of the upset.
Before that hit me, I tried to run up a hill and managed just a few seconds. I tried running down a small decline and that was not as hard, but I did not manage much time on that either. I walked up and down a few flights of stairs today, something I have not done in a long time. This was right after the run attempt and I got my heart rate up. It felt so good!
