Dust Myself Off and Try Again Tomorrow

So today was supposed to be 100%, and I realized my perception has been skewed only after 5 days! Craziness! Before I took the break I knew exactly where I was before I even tracked the calories. So today, I tracked everything and I was at 1600 some calories (the goal is to not go over 1200). It was like I ate an extra meal!!! I'm not down on myself for it, I just realize I need to tighten up. I can do it. And my hunger is more intense, which is the most disappointing part of it all. But, I will be back where I need to be. Tomorrow is another chance to change and work towards my goals. Did I mention I am craving ice cream and chocolate, which I rarely craved before I fell off for 5 days??? I don't like feeling deprived, and I do feel that way slightly because of the cravings. At nearly 1700 calories I should NOT feel that way. It is really opening my eyes to the power food has on my body......

    I love ice cream and chocolate! I think the reason that my weight loss is going so good for me this time is because I let myself have it. Skinny Cow makes chocolates that have 130 calories for the whole package and ice cream sandwiches that have 150 calories each. And the great thing is they taste great. I am not feeling deprived at all this time around and an finally losing weight. emoticon

    I got side tracked with travelling for a few days. Home again and trying to remember to drink water so I am not hungry. Let's get back on track!

    Are you eating food that have whole grains? Those are going to make you feel fuller longer! Whole wheat pasta and such! Lot's of fruits and veggies also! Good luck! You can do this!
