Off roading on the mountain bikes

Not that Norfolk, UK has much in the way of mountains. Its not totally flat though, contrary to popular belief, but rolling. Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire are flat!
Kenn's bike is in for a service and we will pick it up tomorrow so it was the Mountain Bikes for forget it tonight and it was such a lovely evening it seemed a shame not to go out.
First off we had to tighten my handlebars up - the bike had been serviced by Halfords and they had not done the nut back up. Happily I discovered that my wheel didn't turn with my handlebars as I rode up the garden and not when I was piling down a hill. Once that was sorted we rode off down the road to a local trail where we walk the dogs. We followed the trail over the railway line and out to where it ends at the fire station. Turning right and right takes us down a quiet road to the railway station where we crossed the road and on to the road bit leading to another nice trail.
We got nettled and brambled along that trail - it was great fun. Kenn nearly got brained by a low hanging branch. Because I am smaller at 5'8" and not 6' like him, I could duck under more easily. Once out we followed the back roads to home again.
It was brilliant and we plan a trip to Thetford to ride some of the trails there soon. After my Cycletta event though.
We did 90 minutes with client's dog walking today, a good hour with our own and while walking found 3 geocaches so we have been nice and active today. Tomorrow technically is off but I have a dog to walk and to help a friend with some decorating before cycling. I am sure that everything will get done.
Off to check my tea now. I know its late but its been one of those days today.
