I Did Two Chair Videos Today

Since I'm having temporary foot problems suggestions were made to try the chair exercises. Wow, i didn't expect them to be difficult. The first I did was an 11 minute cardio because the Biggest Loser contest's task for today was to do a cardio video. I was only able to do eight minutes, and modified at that. The second was a seated core exercise video. I am really feeling that one. My abs and back aren't in pain, but they definitely feel like they have been worked. I'm going to do that one daily for a while. I don't think I will do the other one for a while. Two are a little too much on a single day. Making progress!

    I sprained my foot a while back and tried some of the seated cardio videos. They are really challenging. I didn't expect them to be so difficult. I am glad I am back on my feet. Great job sticking with the exercises. emoticon

    I've been doing chair exercises since I sprained my ankle 10 days ago. I started with Coach Nicole's cardio and core videos too, and then added some I found on YouTube. I found working out from a chair quite challenging. Despite doing many of the same basic moves, this different approach to them results in muscles being worked in a different way. I like to think that this could be a good thing.

My ankle is healing nicely, so I tried to do some walking videos yesterday, but that proved to be a bit too much - so I went back to the chair aerobics, the mat for lower body work, and then I finally decided to try to do some "ball marches" on my balance ball, and worked my way into some of the traditional "walking" moves...VERY challenging.

Good for you for not letting your foot problems become an excuse not to exercise! In the past, I have used far less valid excuses to sit on the couch - not today though!
