It feels a little like all I've done this week is update my weight. In the last 7 days I've dropped 6lbs, which is pretty impressive considering it took me about 10 months to lose 15.
Now before anyone calls an intervention, I am not starving myself, I am not exercising 5 hours every day (who has time for that anyway?), I'm not sick and I would never make myself sick. It's just a matter of serendipitously good timing.
I've blogged about being off track and losing my mojo and being generally grumpy, snarky and blah. Well, just over a week ago I snapped out of my downward spiral (although it took me a few days to notice) and I started pushing on my workouts, stopped shoving any and all carbs and sugar into my mouth and starting really using the nutrition tracker.
As we all know, these things can lead to weight loss. It just so happens that the week I start living healthy again is the week TOM starts, which in my case always means an automatic drop of 2-3 lbs.
So hooray for healthy living and TOM (did I really just say that??); together they are a winning scale-busting combination!
