Upper body blasted:)

Friday, June 21, 2013

You would think that after all the pull ups, chin ups, push ups, rowing, bicep curling, battle roping, and tire flipping I would have some killer guns. I don't:)
I see women all the time in the gym with huge dents in their arms. They are cut! They keep telling me low reps high weights. My arms just get sore. My workout partner has some really nice arms. I do not:) Although at my sister's wedding apparently my brother-in-law told my hubby I would kill him in an arm wrestling contest.
In any event my upper body is smoked once again.
15.1 miles spin

chest press #45 was light...must go up next time.
battle ropes
flys...#8 yepper that's my weakness.
TRX push ups to flys
body saw
reaper squat thrusts
rower! still my favorite:)
tricep extension #25 and that was easy:)

1130.05 miles for the year!

I'm with your friend....once every 2 weeks or so, do a heavy weight/lo rep (5) session of bicep curls, seated rows, triceps extensions, & deadlifts (they help your arms believe it or not). Also consider bodyweight dips (all the way down....shoulders below elbows)

    You're doing great either way!
