bike, hike, swim, prime rib!

Today was successful. I biked the 2.5 miles no problem (it wasn't too hilly), and then headed out for my hike. Wow, the hike kicked my butt. Completely. To the point where I lagged way behind a five year old, and ended up needing to sit down because i felt like I was going to throw up. It was intense.

It was a little disappointing to see how out of shape and how much the extra weight affects my ability to breathe. I just need to reframe that though. It is refreshing to have opportunities to challenge myself to be able to improve stamina and endurance. That's better.

Anyway, I did 2.25 hours of hiking, ate turkey and provolone wrapped celery and pickles, and was grateful to be in nature and get to see some fabulous vistas.

Later, we went to Mikey's to swim. I didn't really swim laps or anything, but I wasn't taking a nap or sitting on my butt either, which is good.

Tonight, my sister and her boyfriend, my boyfriend and i went on a double date to Texas Roadhouse. It was my first time being there. I got a 16 oz. prime rib and finished about half. Mmmm...leftovers! My sister, my original diet partner, is in total relapse mode and ate buttery buns with cinnamon butter and baked potato and had a sundae yesterday. I am glad I met a new goal-centered partner on here to replace her - although she does say she will rejoin tomorrow.

Tomorrow, we leave for Hampton Beach to see moe. on Saturday. We are camping and going to the beach, so I will have time to be active. I might not be able to update on here though, but I am determined.

    You are so active..GREAT !! Yes, one day of eating off plan is okay every now and then..but the big question is..Can you get back on with out gaining a huge amount of weight..? Keep focused and you can do this..

  you need to get back to a plan and stay away from beef.
