P.A.W.S.E. Week 3 BLC Challenge

This is my PAWSE

Plan/Prepare for the coming week! I wanted to up my exercise minutes to 700 last week but that didn't happen...I fail short because of a prolong illness...I didn't make my weight lose goal of 2.5 lbs either while I came extremely close with 2.4 lbs what could I have done? How could I have changed things to benefit me to get the outcome I needed? Nothing - Nothing at all I worked out 465 minutes last week. I did all my body would allow me to do...I did however learn something this week...I learned that it's okay not to be perfect....That's it's participation not perfection that counts...I learned this from the amazing Tenacious Jungle Tigers....I learned that sometimes you're not in control and you have to listen to your body...We make all the plans and prepare all we can and thats great but sometimes we need a plan B...So this week my plan is to get in 700 minutes of exercise, get in 8 hours of sleep per night, 10 glasses of water per day and finally lose 2.5 lbs this week....

My plan B will be to just show up and try, work hard, stay focus and be dedicated, relax and let the chips fall where they may.....

My workout will be

Wed....90 min walk 30 ST, 300 step ups
Thurs....Turbulent Twist....45 min walk, 300 step ups
Fri....5k walk & ST.....Hip Hop Abs, 500 step ups
Sat......90 min walk WE Challenge, 600 step ups
Sun.....Weekend Challenge, ST, 800 step ups
Mon....Monday Maneuvers, 90 min walk, 1000 Step ups
Tues.....LCW=90 min walk variety of workouts


Write A Blog....My obsticles were mental this week making them more challenging then normal....I had to realize that I'm not a superwoman and couldn't do it all...and that the body can't always do what the mind wants it to do...I had to learn my limitations and I did... So now with that said I can share with others be accountable to others, hold others accountable, encourage others members, do it together and not allow my Jungle mates to fall by the wayside...

Set a goals are to loose 2.5 lbs this week and my non scale goals remain for my strength training to increase weekly and to lift heavier weights

Execute movement the wild way! I've started a walking group in my neighborhood there are 7 of us and week walk 5 days a week 90 minutes a day emoticon

    Great blog Tema!! I agree, it's SO hard to not push past what the body is telling you, and just listening to what your mind says! I had a similar issue at the end of the week. But - despite that you almost made your goal!! By listening to your body, you still ended up meeting your goal. I think that is probably the lesson here...that in our minds, we don't necessarily always know what's best for our bodies! :-) Love your blog - you are doing awesome!! Keep it up!!!

    2.4 lbs is fantastic!

Don't get so caught up in the lbs. lost. You may be adding some muscle - which in turn will burn more calories. Just focus on how your clothes are fitting - don't forget to take those pictures along the way - you may not see a change in the scale sometimes - but a lot of time you can see the changes you have made in the pictures you have taken.
