Not Eating enough - AGAIN - HELP.....

Thursday, June 20, 2013

I'm again getting the you need to increase your food intake based on your fitness minutes. This week alone I'm sitting around 4600 calories burned and I'm only eating 1300 on average a day. I still have 2 more baseball games to play tomorrow and then the unpacking this week.

Could I have been up that 1 pound because my body wants more food? I struggle to even get within range so the thought of having to eat even more seems frightful.

My average burned calories per week are 3000, if i should be eating more so i'm not being counteractive how much more should I be eating.....

This is like a rant blog because its frustrating and I want to give up, I don't know how to learn this stuff and I don't want to keep sabotaging myself by not doing anything

Sorry I didn't see your blog sooner. Have you adjusted your average weekly exercise burned in your SP Fitness Goals? If you do that, then SP will recalculate your nutrition ranges and will recommend a new range if the increased exercises calls for it. If you don't know how to do this, just let me know and I can give you step-by-steps.

I agree with Carol on her ideas for you to try eating some additional healthy foods to up your calorie intake a little to see how that does.

Best wishes! You can make it work!

No giving up here! Not in the Golden Phoenix game plan.

I wonder if your body is holding onto calories because it is in the crisis mode in that it thinks you need them.

Maybe a little experiment is in order. Try adding a few calories in the way of healthy foods and see what happens. Go with freggies. Also, sometimes my body goes through phases of not losing and yet I'm doing all the right things.

Remember to make healthy choices and not go to any extreme. Me, I tend to be 150% on track or 150% off.

Keep me posted. Whatever you do, I know you will keep moving forward.

I'm having the same questions, though my deficit is not as extreme as yours. There is so much conflicting information its hard to know what to do.
I've been eating about 1100-1200/day, but not really on purpose. My goal is 1500.

My appetite has just changed and I no longer need an afternoon snack.

I'm sorry I don't really have an answer for you, other than the body needs fuel. If you are burning that much, made just add another veggie to your lunch to give yourself a little more umph.
