I've been doing good this week (at least I think so) but I'm still nervous for my next few weigh ins. I'm so used to seeing my numbers go down then up then down then up......and so on. I want nothing more than to get out of this rut. I want to get at least a few pounds off before my vacation in August. I'm just sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Hopefully this weekend will be nice so I can get out and practice inline skating. My boyfriend and I have a wonderful walking/skating path not to far from where we live but I'm just not good enough at it yet to really get out and go (or fully enjoy it). He, on the other hand, is very good at it since he used to play semi pro inline (and also ice) hockey. Therefore, I need to improve my skills to keep up with him. Oh, how I wish inline skating was more like ice skating LOL because that I can do and keep up with him. We do have a rink near us too but unfortunately neither of us have skates anymore nor the funds to go skating all the time. It's a great workout but sadly the ice is out for us (at least for the time being). That being said.....I need to work on my inline skills LOL.

Ok now I'm rambling, sorry to all my readers for that, I'll get to the point. As the title of my blog says, I'm hoping. What am I hoping for you ask? Well, here goes.....

I'm hoping:
-to see the numbers on the scale go down
-to see my clothes start to fit loosely
-to learn to inline skate better LOL
-to be able to find and stick to a plan that works for me
-to start loving my body
-to become the person that I know I am

I also hope that I can inspire others that are in a situation like mine to keep trying and never give up. Some days it may seem impossible but if I can do it you can do it! I too have had days, like we all do I'm sure, where I just wanted to give up and say screw it I'm staying fat! I put those days behind me and never look back. I have a long road ahead of me and I'm going to hit that road running (or at least power walking since I'm too out of shape to run very far yet). So off I go.........
