In the near past (like yesterday) I was eating like a teenager. I was eating some things that are healthy like whole grains, fruit, vegetables, dairy, and lean meat some of the time. But I was also eating a lot of junk foods and a lot (and I do mean more than 5) of fruits through out the day. I was even getting up at night and eating things like big bowls of fresh cherries. I would eat things when I saw them on TV or read about them in a book like popcorn, sweets and crackers . There were no planned meals taking in to a count what was healthy to eat for my body.
I was counting calories and later on Weight Watchers points but I was still not eating healthy. Yes I lost weight, 33 pounds but at what cost. I really don't know what is happening with my body but I am not eating enough fiber and you know what that does to you. I have to take pills to even take a poop. That is not right.
So last night I sat down with a guide from Weight Watchers that talked about what you need to eat for a balance diet. Well that looked easy and I had all the things in my pantry and frig. So I got my note book and wrote a plan out for the rest of the week on what I would eat. It was fun writing it down and double checking to make sure I was getting all the things I needed to eat in a day right. It only took half an hour of my time and it was time well spent.
I am going to act like an adult and stick to my plan on eating healthy and stop acting like a spoiled teenager.
