Day 81 - Chili's Dinner with the Family

For my youngest son's 16th birthday, we went to Chili's for dinner. It was very late (9 pm) since Ryan had baseball games to play.
I asked my husband if we were going to do the Chicken Fajita's for 2 but he did not respond. Then I noticed that Chili's had a small section on the menu for low calorie dinners. I ordered the Mango Salsa Tilapia and my dear husband complained saying that we were getting the chicken fajita's for 2. So, I switched my meal.
We had a great time there and my husband and sons enjoyed watching the Chicago Blackhawks win. Dessert was ordered but I did not get any. I did sample my son's cheesecake and my other son's and girlfriend's chocolate chip skillet. It was good.
When I got home, I recorded all my foods and was dismayed that my fajitas was so terribly high in sodium!
Today, I feel bloated! Just for kicks, I stepped on the scale to see how much I gained and it was 2 lbs. I know it is all water weight since during the night I woke up terribly thirsty and drank a tall glass of water.
This morning I walked my 3 miles and in the beginning, it felt like a chore. It got easier after the first mile. I still feel a little bloated and I am hoping that by tomorrow I will be at my low weight again.
During my walk, I stopped at a neighbor's house and we sat on her front porch that she created into a beautiful little garden and we talked for a good hour. Her grandson is friends with my youngest. She invited me to go with her tomorrow morning to do Curves. I have done Curves once or twice years ago when it first came out but I want to do it again since I am much older and not interested in all those other gym type weights designed for 20 somethings...
