Iím so mad at myself and my scale. Since going bonky and recorded 10 different weights in ten different step-onsÖitís time for a new battery. I replaced the old and weighed this morning at 5 AMÖit recorded 216, then I went back to bed. I hardly slept but dozed on and off and finally got up around 8 AM. I weighed again for fun and the darn thing said 215! So now if I weigh at 12:00 Noon will it be even lower? ARGH! FRUSTRATING!

Last week was a good lesson for me. I canít slide. I canít cheat myself because the SCALE IS A LIE-DETECTOR. It reveals the truth!!!!

I stayed within my calorie range all but one day and it was just 22 calories over. BUT, and let me say BUT (again), the foods were not optimum to my health. For instance, Sunday for Fatherís Day my hubby wanted my famous BBQ pork loin, potato salad, baked beans, deviled eggs, sweet tea and warm chocolate chip cookies with ice cream. I love that man will all my heart so he received exactly what he asked for. I ate within my range, but really the only food on this menu that could be considered on my meal plan was the pork loin. The rest was just WAIST THICKENING FOOD.

Our bodies are like well-tuned machines, when we put in low grade fuel, we get low grade results. This week I put in low grade food, and MY LIE-DETECTOR told the truth. I got low grade results. Pooh!
