I slacked off for about week, only exercised a couple times. I was getting boreed with my workout I think.
So I was chatting with a friend and he recommended I work out twice a week with heaviest weights doing 3 sets of 10 each.
Then work out twice a week with lighter weight and and do 5 sets of 10 reps minimum.
He said the heavy weights will build muscle and the lighter ones will tone.
So today I did upper and lower with the 15 lb weight and also did stomach/crunches.
I think its going to be key for me to also switch up my routine every 4 weeks to keep me interested .
I read to where interval training really boosts the results so I think I will do that twice a week.
I haven't seen a change in my measurements in a while... I went down a pound but I never trust the scale anyways. I have seen it leap from a 4 pound loss to only jump right back up!
