I don't make my goal. I was reading an article this morning on keeping motivation going. Here is the link if you want to check it out.

One of the items is to list the consequences of not achieving your weight loss goal. Yikes. Sometimes I think I am already there but I know that things could be so much worse if I still weighed over 280lbs. Yes, it has taken a long time to get to my goal but if I don't continue to lose weight I will continue to have feet and back pain. I will develop diabetes if I don't quit eating candy like a meal and if I can't get my carbs under control. I already take Metformin twice a day so if I don't gain control it is just a matter of time before the med stops helping.

So I am saying NO to diabetes. NO to back pain and hopefully NO to feet pain. I know losing weight won't mean the pain miraculously goes away but it shouldn't get worse.

Goals for today:

emoticon Freggie with each meal and snack emoticon

emoticon At least 3 strength exercises emoticon

emoticon Earn 20 points for A Book Club challenge- emoticon earned maximum

emoticon Write up 2 reports. 1 done

emoticon Earn 35 points for workshop task list-31

    Good for you! You are taking control and staying focused on the reasons you want to get/stay healthy. I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!

    You can to it! I am saying NO with you - let's do it together! I was also over 280 at my heaviest and now that I am down to 223 I definitely have less aches and pains. Grab my hand - we'll pull each other along! emoticon
