Yesterday was a bad day at Black Rock, we lost Slim Whitman, Vince Flynn and James Gandolfini.
No one sand Cara Paloma Blanca quite like Slim Whitman. He was sort of a yodeling folk singer who never really caught on in America but was a big hit across the pond in England.
James Gandolfini came into our living rooms every Sunday night for nine years as the loveable but conflicted mafia boss. I guess noe he is in witness protection.
Vince Flynn brought us Mitch Rapp, the last great hope for the United States. One can only hope that Mitch Rapp was patterned after a real life government who is working behind the scenes to make all of us safer. May they all rest in peace and may Mitch Rapp live on!
