Terrific Thursday

Thursday, June 20, 2013

Going through a mood I guess you could call it...I like my co-worker but she always has something new...decided to ride her bike to work...which is awesome...but she is still late to work then she has to change and put on her make up do her hair..then she has to quit 1/2 hour early to get redressed and ride home. Always something. She and hubby are on fitness kick and he told her they can eat all the cheese they want. He's wanting her to get honey roasted peanuts and nuts to eat as snacks. I tried to look up a few of those calories for her. She goes 110 miles and hour and then crashes and wonders why.

Sometimes I'm like...why do I show up early to start on time and try to be a good employee???

Really tired this morning. Feeling the stress of everything. Daughter comes home tomorrow night and then it's go-go-go and then she heads back for 5 weeks and then the wedding. IT will be here and gone.

Customer gave me tickets to the Dragons 2A baseball game tonight. We usually go 1-2 times a years...so don't want to miss that tonight.

Hubby has parade tomorrow night...but think I may stay home to finish up a few more things.

Got dining room table cleared off to do wedding invitations...that's been a job since we unloaded all the cabinets to paint...wanted to clean everything and put it back in so it's ready for wedding weekend. Taken awhile...but about finished with it.

Trying to keep positive outlook and keep pushing forward!

As a Christian in the workplace the higher authority that you really work for is God. I think Colossians 3:22-25 says this the best especially verses 23-25. God is your boss and your reward will come from Him. He also is mindful of the wrong that is being done by your co-worker and, unfortunately, in time she will reap her reward as well. Try to keep your eyes on the Lord and do what is right. Right always wins even when it doesn't look like it!

God bless you!

Good morning Kathleen. Many hugs your way. I see why you feel the way you do about your co-worker. If she chooses to ride her bike to work then she should be coming early enough to get herself redressed and not on company time. That's wrong. If she's going to do that she needs to have that hour or so deducted off of her pay. Just my opinion. Have a great day.. Chin up... emoticon Donna
