New Exercise Program - Day One: Cardio

Finally! Although two weeks ago I stated that I'd be back the next day with my plan, I wasn't. I was just coming back and decided not to overwhelm myself too much. I have been tracking my food every day. (I haven't always stayed within the calorie range, but I'll work on that.) I have also been exercising every day. However, the exercise was never planned too much unless there was a class I wanted to take at the gym or when I hired a trainer to learn Muay Thai boxing. I made sure I walked every day, but that's not the exercise my body needs. So, starting today, I found a new program to try...

X-TrainFit At Home is a 12-week program. I found it on Amazon for $17.50. I thought I'd do Insanity or TurboFire again, but I decided that I wanted to try something completely different and something that I could keep to. This program seems good because it offers three different levels for every day's exercises. It doesn't seem as hard as Insanity (or TapOut), but not so easy as other programs either. For me coming back, this seems like it will be a good match.

Day One: Cardio (54 minutes)
There is a woman leading three other women who are demonstrating the three different levels you can follow depending on what you can do/want to do. The program asks that you do three specific exercises (say burpees, frog hops, and front kicks) for 60 seconds each, then 45 seconds each, and the 30 seconds each. Then you move on to three different exercises done in the same format. I was able to keep up with the middle and advanced levels throughout the DVD. I did work up a good sweat and am a bit sore now, so it seems that this program may be a good one for me!
