A MORNING WITH HUBBY

Well, we got up as Hubby had a doctors appointment for a physical this morning. Off we went to pick up some coffee, stopped and purchased some Buffalo Blue Food for Miss Coco as she only had about a 1/4 cup in the bag. Then to the doctors. It took well over an hour for him to emerge from the office. We were going to run acouple of more errands, but we did not have time. We stopped at Ruby Tuesdays and got a salad for lunch and I ate all of mine. That is unusual for me, but I guess I was hungry.
I had to go to the bank after he left for work and I stopped by to see the fellow about my phone. I t has been getting a little hot when I am using it etc and the battery is not staying up very long. Mike went through my phone with me explaining some of the things that were going on. I know he can help me and I would talk with him before going the AT&T as no one there really seems to want to help. After taking a 30 minute lesson on the use of my phone all is well. I was trying to use parts of it like a computer and that is not how it works. I found that I had to physically close some of the pages when opened or they would remain open and that was pulling power from my battery. He explained how I could keep a check on it and showed me what to look for that would tell me that something was using power. I just thought I was going to have to purchase another battery, but I left there feeling much more confident about the use. He showed me how to organize it more and to take off the things that I do not use. Facebook's app is one of the culprits so I am going to use the internet directly to open Facebook. He advised that the app was not really a good one anyway and he showed me how he did it on his phone which is an earlier model of mine.
We discovered Mike two phones back. We had always purchased directly at AT&T or thru Best Buy and we never seemed to get any help. We stopped and talked with him one day and he gave a complete demonstartion of the phone I wanted and Hubby wanted an I Phone, but after seeing what my droid would do, he changed his mind. Mike also sat our phones up for us, explained a lot of the uses and told us we would not remember all of them, so anytime we had a question just come and talk to him. I have a mail service that is not the norm to set up and he just got in there and did it for me. The AT&T quy working with him that day just looked and advised he had no idea what was going on and he could not do that.
He asked about Hubby and I told him that what he was showing me would help him also as there were several programs that had appeared in updates that we did not like. Simple the way he showed me to get rid of them and get what we wanted in the forefront.
Hope he keeps working there as long as I will be needing a phone. He is on top of the updates and new technology the minute it hits the market. He even remembered the date of my contract and told me that there would be a couple of exciting changes coming up before my next phone that is not on the phones now. Boy......I am anxious to see them.
