Would like to know - Am I the Only One?

I really am interesting in knowing if I am the only one, if this is just me or if I have company out there with this.

I have tried numerous times and I mean numerous times with programs (30, 60, 90 days you know the ones from different people, etc). And every time I start them with good intentions of following them through to the end and finishing them, life seems to get in the way or I just end up getting really bored and I do NOT complete them and say FORGET ABOUT IT.

I find I do better with switching it up every 1-2 weeks and I end up doing so much better! And when I do this I also end up eating better as well.

Just curious.

    I've never been able to follow a "program." I do better monitoring what I eat and keeping track of macronutrients & fiber. It's dumb, but I rebel against programs.

You should do what works for you.

    I remember figuring out at a very young age that trying to follow any program where I had to follow it "perfectly" for 30 days (or more) was setting myself up to fail. I can't handle that level of focus—life isn't that cooperative. There has to be some wiggle room to be less than perfect, or I won't stick with it. So no, it's not just you!

    You have to find what makes you happy and what makes you feel comfortable. If you haven't found it, then just keep looking.

In the meantime, try to make yourself feel at home where you are and work at it.

    It depends on the program. Usually I just end up injuring myself and have to quit ;-)
