Three Thoughts for Today

Wednesday, June 19, 2013

Three Thoughts from Today:

- The weather is GORGEOUS. I got a nice walk in outside. I definitely go farther, faster. There were quite a lot of bees out today but it only made my walk a bit longer as I tried to circumvent their swarms. Thanks bees! Makes me wonder if I should move somewhere that stays constantly gorgeous all year long for optimal walking and health. Any place like that you know of?!

- Last night my bf pulled a move on me… he said he didn’t want dinner, and ended up ordering a pizza and wings. He ate it in a room all by himself, away from me, and then apologized afterwards. He pulled an “Old Me” – had a bad day, just wanted to be bad, but tried not to drag me down with him. On nights like this, I eat turkey pepperoni, reduced fat cheese, and gf crackers for dinner, which probably isn’t the best choice for me either. I’m thinking I need better “on the spot” dinners. It still hurts to see him like this and I’m hoping everything starts falling into place soon. Sending the positive vibes.

- I am feeling a CRAZY urge to snack today. I’m really trying to fight it. So far, so good. I swear – some days are off the charts for this and others are no problem. At least I know better than to reach for something now, right?!

Three Happy Things:

- There are a whole bunch of butterflies out and about today. I just love ‘em!

- I am already getting GREAT feedback from my project that I turned in last week. It feels good!

- I get to ride home with the sunroof open and music blasting. Can’t beat that at the end of the day, right?!

Fun Fact of the Day:

Wednesday in Dutch is Woesndag.

That’s all I got!

aww i just read this. first of all, awesome job on building your walks! that is the best feeling ever. and i will agree with everyone else, sooo adorable that even when your boo is feeling bad he is still thinking of you first!!! i am so sorry he is still in a funk :9 also i read "gf crackers" as girlfriend crackers, not gluten free haha. i was like oh, ALSO adorable that you guys have separately labeled food haha!

"At least I know better than to reach for something now, right?! "

Even the fact that you think of it before you do it is really important and a great NSV!

I love your three happy thoughts!

I had to chuckle at your BF going and eating his pizza closed up in another room, lol. Smart man. Hope things turn around for him.

Good of him to take his emotional eating elsewhere so you aren't tempted.

On the other hand ... all you at last night was turkey pepperoni and crackers and today all you want to do is snack snack snack. Hmmm. Is there mayhaps a connection I am wondering?

Sounds like you are having a great day. Summer weather tends to do that to a person....and if you find a place that's gorgeous (and affordable!) all year long let me know 'cause Indiana isn't it!

Let's all move to the OC - they don't have seasons there, right?

Love the happy things, keep em coming!

That is so considerate of your man to try and not bring you down, although I am sorry he's feeling bad :( no good. Love your three happy things, they sure would make me happy too!

Aw, the boy gave into the "feed on carbs to feel better" blues?!haha I've certainly been there. That is sweet of him trying not to take you down as well. I'm guilty of asking hubs to dig in with me on those days.

I bet all of those butterflies are beautiful. :)
