Hip Hop Abs- not feeling it

Wednesday, June 19, 2013

Ok, I tried to hang in there until the end of the week but I just can't do it. I don't like this program at all. Shaun T is very cheesy and the tons of commericials for beach body products is a complete turn off. I also can't stand the guy in the background with the cheesy smile and who randomly beckons at the people he assumes is watching.

The workout is not super challenging but you do need to be somewhat coordinated. I find myself having to do another 15 minutes of pylometric exercises just to get to a reason burn which makes no sense. This might be for someone who's not yet accustomed to high intensity workouts or who can't do them for health reasons.

Overall, this is a do not recommend- I really wanted to like it but I just can't.

I love Insanity! I thought Hip Hop Abs was pretty good as well but probably more as a supplamental workout rather than a program to do. Sorry to hear that it didn't work out for you.

I can understand this. The society of professional personal trainers (or whatever the group calls themselves) aren't big fans of Shaun T. They say he doesn't seem to have much physiology training and sometimes puts people into bad positions. Of course that's what they said about his Insanity course. But people love that stuff!
