Outside pulling weeds

Wednesday, June 19, 2013

Unbelievable (though I may react to it later), I spent a couple hours outside in the back yard, mostly in the shade. I pulled some weeds on the patio, watched my grandson play, tossed a ball to him, (I throw horrible).

My husband made breakfast for all of us before we went out to play. Now it is on to get my skin test at the allergist for wheat and soy.
Our strawberry plant is no longer giving strawberries, though we did pick 4 cucumbers from our patio plant last week. So cute! About 5 inches long.

Walking in the right direction, one step at a time, one day at a time. Pressing on. Making it happen. Rain last night washed a lot of pollen down, the air was cooler this morning. We chased butterflies too.

Exercise - weeding, walking, and tossing. Meme has poor aim, I couldn't hit his basket catcher at all.

Neat photos! Shame about the strawberries (my favorites), but baby cukes would be wonderful! Hope your back doesn't bother you from the weeding. I sit on a low stool to do it, in spite of my knee and hip replacements, I still have great lower body flexibility. its hard to keep my back from squawking bending low though. My Mom lets me dead head and I am grateful a lot of it is in pots so I can sit at them easily.
Wonderful hubby cooking din din!!
Keep up the great work!

DEBORAH, the very best exercise in the world is playing with a grandchild. Not only does it do your body good. You can always get a few good laughs and little anger, HUGS Pat in Maine.

I hope the allergist is able to tell you something. Good luck!

Love the pictures, cute kid!

I hope you're not feeling too much from the weeding later. I couldn't sit well for a couple of days after planting.
